Food & Drink

East Meon, unusually for its size, boasts two very good pubs.

Ye Olde George Inn, next door, a 16th Century Coaching House boasts a 9+ Trip Adviser rating. Its restaurant attracts diners from many surrounding areas. Guests are advised to book in advance if wishing to dine there. https://www.yeoldegeorgeinn.net/ .

Unfortunateley, our second, pub is temporarily closed awaiting a new Landlord. Just two minutes away,    The Izaak Walton, a Free House is noted for Cask Ales and good "pub" food. It is named after the author of the Compleat Angler.
