East Meon, unusually for its size boasts two very good pubs.

Ye Olde George in, next door, a 16th Century Coaching Inn boasts a 9+ Trip Adviser rating. Its restaurant atracts diners from many surrounding areas. Guests are advised to book in advance if wishing to dine there. https://www.yeoldegeorgeinn.net/

The second, pub, just two minutes away, The Izaak Walton, named after the author of the Compleat Angler.
